The Paris-based startup raised a $145 million Series D funding round. Existing investor Iconiq Growth led the round, with participation from Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, IVP, Meritech, Greenoaks, and Felix Capital.
Brim Financial Plans International Expansion After $85 Million Series C - Co-founded by Rasha Katabi, Brim Financial enables banks, fintechs, large enterprises, and merchants to issue credit cards. The Toronto-based company secured a $85 million Series C round led by EDC Investments, with Vistara Growth, White Owl Group, Epic Ventures, and Zions Bank also joining.
Luminance’s Generative AI-for-law raises $40M Series B - Led by Eleanor Lightbody, Luminance’s large language model automates the generation, negotiation, and analysis of contracts and other legal documents. The UK startup raised a $40 million Series B round led by March Capital, with National Grid Partners and Slaughter and May also joining.
Animal-free egg protein startup Onego Bio is one step closer to cracking the traditional egg market - Co-founded by Maija Itkonen, Onego uses the fungus Trichoderma reesei and precision fermentation to create an animal-free egg white alternative. The Finland-based food-biotech company secured $40 million in Series A funding. NordicNinja led the round, joined by Tesi, EIT Food, Agronomics, Maki.vc, Holdix and Turret, and a group of strategic partners.
Nourish Raises $35M Series A to Expand Access to Registered Dietitians - Co-founded by Stephanie Liu, Nourish connects people to registered dietitians for personalized nutrition counseling covered by insurance. The US startup raised a $35 million Series A round led by Index Ventures, with Maverick Ventures, TCV, Y Combinator, Thrive Capital, and BoxGroup also contributing.
Banking fintech Constantinople pockets $50 million Series A - Co-founded and co-led by Dianne (Di) Challenor, Constantinople is an Australian fintech providing functions to regional retail and business banks such as card issuance, lending, and digital banking applications. The Sydney-based company raised A$50 million ($32.8 million) in a Series A funding round led by Prosus Ventures. Square Peg and AirTree also participated.
Zafran launches with $30M+ to speed up vulnerability remediation - Co-founded and led by Sanaz Yashar, Zafran is a risk and mitigation platform that defuses threat exploitation by mobilizing existing security tools. The Israeli startup raised a $30 million round co-led by Sequoia Capital and Cyberstarts, with Cerca Partners and Penny Jar also joining.
Pediatric mental health startup InStride Health picks up $30M to accelerate growth into new markets - Co-founded by Kathryn Boger, Ph.D., ABPP (Chief Clinical Officer) and Mona Potter, MD (Chief Medical Officer), InStride Health provides insurance-based virtual treatment for patients with pediatric anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The Boston, US-based company raised a $30 million Series B round led by General Catalyst, with previous investors .406 Ventures, Valtruis, Mass General Brigham Ventures, and Hopelab Foundation also joining.
Intellihealth, a startup working with the state of Connecticut to provide weight loss care, raises $24M - Co-founded by Katherine H. Saunders, Intellihealth is a weight loss startup. The US startup secured $24 million from Mentors Fund and Connecticut Innovations.
Confetti, a team-building platform used by Apple, Google and Microsoft, raises $16M - Co-founded and led by Lee Rubin, Confetti facilitates the creation and management of team-building activities for companies. The New York startup raised a $16 million Series A round co-led by Entrée Capital and IN Venture.
Healthtech Tonic App secures €10.85M Series A - Founded and led by Daniela Seixas, Tonic App is a healthtech platform that aggregates medical resources for doctors. The Porto, Portugal-based startup raised €10.85 million in Series A funding. BlueCrow Capital and Iberis Capital co-led the round, joined by Vesalius Biocapital, Armilar Venture Partners, Shilling VC, and FSNB Health & Care.
Float Raises $10M in Series A Funding - Co-founded by Christy Johnson, Float Health is a health platform where doctors, pharmacists, and patients can request a nurse on-demand at any location. The San Francisco-based startup raised a $10 million Series A round led by Canvas Ventures, with Wave Capital, Y Combinator, Burst Capital, and Also Capital joining in.
Goalsetter Secures $9.6 Million in Series A Extension Funding to Help American Families Learn to Save, Spend, Invest and Build Wealth - Founded and led by Tanya Van Court, Goalsetter offers a finance app for families. The New York startup raised a $9.6 million Series A extension round co-led by Edward Jones and MassMutual, with participation from Fiserv, Webster Bank, Seae Ventures, Astia Fund, and Partnership Fund for New York City.
Cloverleaf cements $7.3M to simplify and automate workplace coaching with AI - Co-founded by Kirsten Moorefield, Cloverleaf is a coaching platform that supports learning and development leaders, HR leaders, and department leaders reimagine team-building. The US-based startup raised $7.3 million in a Series A extension. Advantage Capital led the round, joined by Conductive Ventures, Origin Ventures, ScOp Venture Capital, JobsOhio, Cintrifuse Capital, and 1809 Capital.
SaaS entrepreneur Raisinghani’s new AI venture nabs $5.5M to boost sales efficiency - Co-founded by Manisha Raisinghani, SiftHub is an AI assistant that aims to help sales and presales teams focus on building relationships. The San Francisco-based AI knowledge platform raised $5.5 million in Seed funding. Matrix Partners India and Blume Ventures led the round, joined by Neon Fund and others.
Home From College Raises $5.4M in Funding To Build the Professional Platform for the Next Generation - Co-founded by Julia Haber, Home from College connects college students with professional opportunities. The Los Angeles startup raised $5.4 million in a Seed funding round led by GV (Google Ventures). PEAK6 and Black Angel Group also joined.
London-based Belong launches out of stealth with €3.4 million pre-seed to empower a younger generation of long-term investors - Co-founded by Avion Gray and Samantha Rosenberg, Belong aims to make wealth-building more accessible to professionally-employed millennials. The UK startup raised a $3.8 million Pre-Seed. Octopus Ventures led the round, joined by Viola Fintech, Connect Ventures, Portage Ventures, and January Ventures.
Metyos is building a biowearable to monitor chronic kidney disease - Co-founded by Olga Chashchina (CTO), Metyos provides wearable devices for monitoring chronic kidney disease from home. The Paris-based startup raised a $2.5 million Pre-Seed round co-led by Cenitz, Bpifrance, and KIMA Ventures.
Storiaverse Launches Groundbreaking Mobile Entertainment App That Combines Reading, Animation and Audio for an Immersive “Read-Watch” Experience for Digital-Native Adults - Co-founded by Agnes Kozera (Chief Content Officer), Storiaverse helps writers and animators create multimedia stories for adults. The Los Angeles startup raised a $2.5 million Pre-Seed round led by 500 Global.
Wellola secures €2.2M for digital patient management solution - Founded and led by Sonia Neary, Wellola provides a digital patient communication management system. The Irland-based company raised €2.2 million in a funding round led by Elkstone and joined by Enterprise Ireland and Bay Advisory.
Femtek Secures $1 Million in Funding for ‘Basal Body Ring’ Development - Founded and led by Olivia Orchowski, Femtek is developing a menstrual health-focused smart ring. The Australian women’s health tech startup raised $1 million. Arcanys Ventures and Techstars led the round, with participation from angel investors.
Ironic biotech raises €1M for plant-based proteins high in iron - Founded and led by Dr. Nélida Leiva Eriksson, Ironic Biotech produces plant-derived proteins that make iron easily absorbed into the blood. The Swedish startup raised €1 million in Pre-Seed funding.
Meet Kidsy, a kids’ clothing startup that sells what parents need at a discount - Co-founded and led by Shraysi Tandon, Kidsy is an e-commerce startup that provides consumers greater access to discounted baby and kids products by partnering with large brands, retailers, and liquidation companies for their overstock and returns inventory. The Chicago-based startup raised $1 million in Pre-Seed funding. Impellent Ventures led the round, joined by Hustle Fund, Everywhere VC, The Fund Midwest, and Responsibly Ventures.
VC & FoF: Jobs for the Future’s new $50M fund looks to invest in underrepresented founders - Co-led by Managing Partner Sabari Raja, JFFVentures launched its second fund, JFFVentures Fund II to back innovative employment tech. It secured $15 million in capital commitments and aims for a $50 million target.
New Summit is raising a new $100 million fund to back climate tech and underrepresented fund managers - Co-led by Managing Partner Natasha Lamb, US-based New Summit Investments is raising its new $100 million impact fund (the firm’s fifth) to invest in managers backing startups and other companies focused on environmental and social problems.
