Therini Bio lands $39m to launch Alzheimer’s and DME trials - Co-founded by Katerina Akassoglou, Ph.D. and led by Tara Nickerson, PhD, MBA, Therini Bio develops immunotherapies that target neuroinflammation caused by vascular dysfunction. The San Francisco-based biotech company raised $39 million in a Series A extension from Angelini Ventures, Apollo Health Ventures, SV Health Investors, Dementia Discovery Fund, Dolby Family Ventures, Eli Lilly, Foundation for a Better World, MRL Ventures Fund, and Sanofi Ventures.
Complement 1 Secures $16M Seed Round to Scale Clinically Validated Cancer Lifestyle Modification Platform - Co-founded by Trupti Mukker, Complement 1 is an evidence-based lifestyle modification platform for oncology. The US startup raised $16 million in Seed funding co-led by Owl Ventures and Blume Ventures.
InventWood is about to mass-produce wood that’s stronger than steel - Co-founded by Amy Gong, InventWood manufactures a compressed wood material stronger than steel for sustainable building materials. The US company raised a $15 million Series A round led by the Grantham Foundation, with Baruch Future Ventures, Builders VC, and Muus Climate Partners also contributing.
Tern raises $13M, launches new features - Co-founded by Katie Williams, Tern streamlines travel advisors’ systems and connects them with travelers and suppliers. The US startup raised $13 million in Series A funding led by Viewpoint Ventures and Haystack VC, with additional contributions from Upfront Ventures.
Biotech Intrepid Labs exits stealth with funding from Radical Ventures and Avant Bio - Co-founded and led by Dr. Christine Allen, Intrepid Labs aims to fast-track drug development with machine learning and robotics. The Toronto-based biotech company announced $11 million in funding across two rounds. AVANT BIO led the $7 million Seed round, joined by existing investor Radical Ventures. Radical Ventures led the previously announced $4 million Pre-Seed round, joined by Propagator Ventures.
TaleMonster Games raises $7M to make casual mobile games - Co-founded by Irem Sumer and Simay Kahraman, TaleMonster Games develops casual puzzle games. The Istanbul-based startup raised $7 million in Seed funding led by General Catalyst and joined by a16z speedrun, Arcadia, and Ludus Ventures.

The US startup raised $6.5 million in Series A funding co-led by Arkam Ventures and Athera Venture Partners, with JSW Ventures, Kalaari Ventures, Sunicon Ventures, and Darashaw & Company also participating.
Stackpack Secures $6.3M to Reinvent Vendor Management in an AI-Driven Business Landscape - Founded and led by Sara Wyman, Stackpack is an AI-powered vendor stack management platform for finance and IT teams. The San Francisco startup raised $6.3 million in funding led by Freestyle Capital and joined by Elefund, Upside Partnership, Nomad Ventures, Layout Ventures, MSIV Fund, and angel investors.

Bain bets on Indian domestic work startup Pronto even as rivals face criticism - Founded and led by Anjali Sardana, Pronto is a platform for booking cleaning and other domestic services. The Indian startup raised $2 million in Seed funding led by Bain Capital Ventures.
Perimenopause Wellness Brand Valerie Secures £514K in Pre-Seed Funding - Co-founded by Wizz Selvey, Valerie is a wellness brand focused on perimenopause support. The UK startup secured £514,000 in Pre-Seed funding from angel investors.
FEMSelect Closes Series B to Advance Pelvic Organ Prolapse Technology - Led by Sasha Schrode, FEMSelect focuses on pelvic organ prolapse (POP) treatment.
