The Palo Alto startup secured a $141 million Series B round at a $1.64 billion post-money valuation nine months after completing its Series A. Kleiner Perkins led the round, with additional support from General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, NVIDIA, Premji, SV Angel, UHS, and WellSpan Health.

The New Haven, US-based startup raised $14.5 million in Series A funding co-led by Deerfield and CVS Health Ventures and joined by .406 Ventures, Optum Ventures, and GreyMatter.
Fermata uses computer vision to detect diseases and pests in plants - Founded and led by Valeria Kogan, Fermata uses computer vision and AI to monitor and diagnose greenhouse crops with diseases or pests. The Israeli company secured $10 million in Series A funding from Raw Ventures.
Siren secures strategic funding for its socks that detect diabetic foot ulcers - Co-founded and led by Ran Ma, Siren makes smart socks that detect diabetic foot ulcers. The San Francisco company raised $8.5 million led by Mölnlycke Health Care.
Emma Watson’s luxury gin brand Renais raises £5m for global expansion - Co-founded by actress Emma Watson, Renais is a luxury gin brand. It raised £4.95 million from InvestBuy and Jean-Sébastien Robicquet.
Grove cuts clinical trial enrollment time with AI - Co-founded by Trân Lê, Grove AI enables clinical research organizations to recruit and engage with participants at scale via its AI-accelerated Participant Relationship Management (PRM) for Clinical Research. The San Francisco-based startup raised $4.9 million in Seed funding led by venture firm A*, with participation from Afore Capital, LifeX Ventures, and Pear VC.
Irish AI start-up Jentic raises €4m in pre-seed funding - Co-founded by Dorothy Creaven, Jentic is a communication middleware layer for AI agents. The Dublin, Ireland-based startup raised €4 million in a Pre-Seed round led by Elkstone and joined by Sure Valley Ventures, TechOperators, and Shuttle.
AI for AR startup Fazeshift raises $4M (Axios Pro $) - Co-founded and led by Caitlin Leksana, Fazeshift provides an AI agent for accounts receivable processes. The US startup raised $4 million in a Seed round led by Gradient Ventures and joined by YC, Wayfinder, Pioneer Fund, Ritual Capital, and Phoenix Fund.
Deus Robotics raises $3M Seed for warehouse automation solutions - Co-founded by Antonina Iermeichuk and Iryna Lehkobyt, Deus Robotics is developing autonomous warehouse robots. The Kyiv, Ukraine- and Boston, US-based startup raised $3 million in Seed funding led by U.Ventures, with additional support from 1991 Ventures, SID Venture Partners, Sigma Software Labs, and SD Capital.
Tangible raises $3M to track construction materials (Axios Pro $) - Co-founded by Anneli Tostar and Nicole Granath, Tangible offers carbon emissions software for the construction market. The San Francisco startup raised a $3 million round co-led by Prologis Ventures and Pi Labs.
Mili: AI-Based Wealth Management Meeting Platform Company Raises $2 Million (Seed) - Co-founded by Vennela Miryala, Mili provides an AI-powered meeting assistant designed for wealth advisors. The US-based startup raised a $2 million Seed round co-led by Chiratae and BoldCap, with additional support from Sparrow Capital, SFMG Wealth Advisors, Quent Capital, and Better Capital.
From Cambridge to docks: UK-based RoboK lands £1M for AI-powered logistics - Founded and led by Hao Zheng, Robok is a Cambridge University spin-out building AI-empowered Computer Vision solutions for large-scale infrastructures. The Cambridge, UK-based startup raised £1 million in funding from UKRI.
Women’s Health: Twentyeight Health picks up $10M, inks partnerships with Medicaid insurers - Co-founded by Amy Fan (not active with the startup anymore), Twentyeight Health is a women’s healthcare digital platform that offers online consultations and home delivery of birth control, emergency contraception, prenatal vitamins, and treatments for different conditions. The New York City-based startup raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Seae Ventures, joined by Impact America Fund, The Social Entrepreneurs’ Fund, RH Capital, Impact Engine, Gratitude Railroad, and Townhall Ventures.
VC: Trinity Ventures Announces Closing of $435M Continuation Fund with Partners Group, Portfolio Advisors, and funds managed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management as Anchor Investors - Co-led by Patricia Nakache, Trinity Ventures, a Menlo Park, California-based early-stage technology VC firm, announced the close of Trinity Ventures 2024, LP, a multi-asset continuation fund with approximately $435 million in total commitments.
Valspring Capital Successfully Closes Fund I Above Target at $255 Million - Co-founded by Amy Sievert and Amanda Zajac, Valspring Capital, a Boston, US-based healthcare-focused growth equity firm, announced the close of the firm’s debut fund, Valspring Capital Fund I (the “Fund”), above its target, at $255 million. The firm aims to invest primarily in growth-stage companies in the healthcare industry in North America.
