The US-based company raised $26 million in Series B funding led by Index Ventures, with additional support from GV just 14 months after raising $10 million in Series A.
Allara partnered with several US health insurance providers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, and United Healthcare, which cover its services in 10 states. The company plans to expand its insurance coverage nationwide.

Startups: Anthropic reportedly secures an additional $1B from Google - Co-founded by Daniela Amodei, San Francisco-based AI startup Anthropic, raised a new $1 billion round from existing investor Google. The company’s total funding amounts to $14.7 billion.
Influencer Marketing Platform ShopMy Raises $77.5 Million Funding Round - Co-founded by Tiffany Lopinsky, ShopMy connects top brands and influential creators. The New York-based company secured $77.5 million in Series B funding co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Bain Capital Ventures. Menlo Ventures, Inspired Capital, and AlleyCorp also participated.
Green Fusion secures €12 million to further develop heating systems and fuel its growth - Co-founded and led by Nina Germanus, Green Fusion supports the digitisation and optimisation of heating systems for apartment buildings. The Berlin-based startup raised €12 million in Series A funding co-led by HV Capital and XAnge. BitStone Capital, Übermorgen Ventures, Kopa Ventures, Vireo Ventures, and Brandenburg Kapital also joined the round.
Bedrock raises $12M for geothermal HVAC (Axios Pro $) - Co-founded and led by Joselyn Lai, Bedrock Energy aims to transform the heating and cooling of buildings, using geothermal energy. The Austin-based company raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Titanium Ventures and joined by Energy Impact Partners, Sustainable Future Ventures, Wireframe Ventures, Overture Ventures, Toba Capital, Elemental Impact, First Star Ventures, and Cantos.
Sunfish raises $10M for IVF financing and support (Axios Pro $) - Co-founded and led by Angela Rastegar, Sunfish provides fertility financing solutions. The Los Angeles-based startup raised $10 million in Series A funding led by Haymaker Ventures. Allegis Capital, Mother Ventures, Walkabout Ventures, Hannah Grey VC, Fiat Ventures, and Coyote Ventures also participated.
Local startup will use new funding round to double down on Charlotte - Co-founded by Suzanne Griffin, Craftwork is a home-painting matching platform. The US-based startup raised $7 million in Series A funding led by Slow Ventures, with support from Lachy Groom, Four Cities Capital, Forerunner Ventures, Pioneer Fund, and Y Combinator.
Y Combinator grad Spaceium raises oversubscribed $6.3M for space re-fueling - Co-founded by Ashi Dissanayake, Spaceium is developing unmanned space refueling stations to support interplanetary missions. The San Francisco-based startup raised a $6.3 million Seed round led by Initialized Capital. Other investors include Y Combinator, Zeno Ventures, Olive Tree Capital, DTX Ventures, a16z Scout Fund, Crosscourt Ventures, Giangels, Calm Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Spacedust Ventures, Capitalize Funds, Outfit Ventures, Mergus Ventures, and Hydrocarbon Minerals.
Finnish company Rester Oy secures €4.9M to advance its textile recycling solutions - Founded by Outi Luukko, Rester Oy is a mechanical textile recycling company. The Finland-based startup raised €4.9 million from Lindström Oy and Tesi (Finnish Industry Investment Ltd).
Egal Raises $4M Series A to Make Period Products as Accessible as Toilet Paper - Co-founded and led by Penelope Finnie, Egal provides accessible period solutions for public restrooms. The US-based startup raised $4 million in Series A funding led by Bauer Family Office’s Technology for Humanity, joined by Slater Technology Fund, Catalytic Impact Foundation, Princeton Alumni Angels, and others.
Pedal power: Forest lands €15.3 million to expand sustainable e-bike fleet - Co-founded by Caroline Seton, Forest is a shared bike operator. The London-based startup secured £3 million in Series B funding from B8 Venture Partners and £10 million in debt funding from Fintex Capital.
SquarePeg Announces Funding to Deliver New Candidate Evaluation Platform Built for the Modern Recruiter - Founded and led by Claire McTaggart, SquarePeg is an evaluation platform for recruiting teams. The Salt Lake City-based company raised $3.5 million in Seed funding led by Next Frontier Capital and joined by Acadian Ventures, Bread & Butter Ventures, Silicon Road Ventures, Full Circle, Vitalize, Loyal VC, and Yokohama Ventures.
Coval evaluates AI voice and chat agents like self-driving cars - Founded and led by Brooke Hopkins, Coval accelerates AI agent development with automated testing for chat, voice, and other objective-oriented systems. The San Francisco-based startup raised $3.3 million in Seed funding led by MaC Venture Capital and joined by General Catalyst and Y Combinator.
Sycai Medical secures €3M for pancreatic cancer detection - Co-founded by Sara Toledano and Júlia Rodríguez Comas, Sycai Medical enables radiologists to detect and characterise abdominal lesions on CT scans and MRIs. The Barcelona, Spain-based medtech raised €3 million in a round led by LUMO Labs, with contributions from Ship2B Ventures, Athos Capital, and Namarel Ventures.
Introducing Riley AI: The first AI-powered product insights assistant to supercharge growth - Co-founded and led by Claudia Natasia, Riley AI is an AI-powered product discovery agent. The San Francisco startup raised a $3 million Seed round led by Vertex Ventures US, with additional support from NextView Ventures, Hyphen Capital, and product angel investors.
VC: Portfolia Closes $4.15M FemTech Fund III, Building on Women’s Health Investment Track Record - Founded by Trish Costello, Portfolia, a US venture capital firm focused on diverse investment opportunities, has closed its third femtech fund at $4.15 million. It aims to back companies addressing women’s health.
Mor Chen, previously an investor with Accel joined Greylock as its newest partner.
