Synthesia snaps up $180M at a $2.1B valuation for its B2B AI video platform - Co-founded by Professor Lourdes Agapito, Synthesia is an AI video generation platform for enterprises. The London startup secured a $180 million Series D at a $2.1 billion valuation. NEA led the round, joined by WiL (World Innovation Lab), Atlassian Ventures, PSP Growth, GV, and MMC Ventures.
Finnish climatetech company secures €44M to scale low-carbon hydrogen technology - Co-founded and led by Laura Rahikka, Hycamite produces green hydrogen and solid carbon by splitting methane. The Finland-based startup raised €44 million in Series A funding. Sojitz Group led the round, joined by Holdix Oy, Stephen Industries Oy, OMV Petrom, and MOL PLUS.
Google alumni and Owkin researchers raise $41m to build GenAI models for biology - Co-founded by Zelda Mariet, Bioptimus develops AI models focused on life sciences. The Paris-based startup secured $41 million in a round led by Cathay Innovation and joined by Sofinnova Partners, Bpifrance, Andera Partners, Hitachi Ventures, Boom Capital Ventures, Pomifer Capital, and Sunrise.
Overland AI Raises $32 Million in Series A Funding to Advance Ground Autonomy for U.S. Defense Forces - Co-founded by Stephanie Bonk, Overland AI is developing advanced autonomy for uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs) for defense sector clients. The Seattle-based startup raised a $32 million Series A round led by 8VC, with Point72 Ventures, Overmatch Ventures, Shasta Ventures, Ascend, Osage University Partners, and Caprock also joining.
Vividly Secures $30M Series B to Bring AI to CPG Brands - Co-founded by Nikki McNeil, Vividly is a trade promotion management (TPM) platform for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. The US company secured a $30 million Series B round led by Centana Growth Partners.
Startup pioneering tiny robots that can travel inside the brain gets $28 million in new venture funding - Co-founded by Joana Cartocci, Robeauté is developing a microrobot that can travel inside the human brain to assist in surgical procedures. The Paris-based startup raised a $28 million Series A round co-led by Plural, Cherry Ventures, and Kindred Ventures. LocalGlobe, Think.Health, APEX Ventures, and Brainlab also participated in the round.
NatureMetrics secures $25m Series B funding to accelerate biodiversity monitoring technology solution - Founded by Kat Bruce and led by Dimple Patel, NatureMetrics is a global nature intelligence company that generates biodiversity data at scale using environmental DNA (eDNA), Earth Observation, and advanced data science and AI. The UK-based startup raised a $25 million Series B led by Just Climate, with EDF Pulse Ventures, ReOcean Fund, 2150, BNP Paribas, Ananda Impact Ventures, and SWEN Blue Ocean also joining.
Raspberry AI raises $24M from a16z to accelerate fashion design - Founded and led by Cheryl Liu, Raspberry AI is an AI image-generation platform that enables designers to visualize and iterate their ideas. The New York startup raised a $24 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, with additional support from Greycroft, Correlation Ventures, and MVP Ventures.
Dfns crypto wallet firm raises $16m. Clients incl Fidelity, Zodia - Founded and led by Clarisse Hagège, Dfns is a Wallets-as-a-Service (WaaS) platform that helps fintechs, institutions, and enterprises worldwide simplify digital asset management and securely bring users into crypto. The Paris-based startup raised $16 million in Series A funding led by Further Ventures and joined by White Star Capital, Hashed, Semantic, Techstars, Bpifrance, Motive Partners, Wintermute, and Motier Ventures.
Moment Energy Secures US$15 Million Series A Funding to Build World's First Second-Life Gigafactory in the U.S. - Co-founded by Sumreen Rattan, Moment Energy repurposes retired EV batteries into energy storage systems for commercial customers. The Vancouver startup raised $15 million in Series A funding co-led by Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and Voyager Ventures, with additional support from In-Q-Tel, Version One Ventures, Overture Ventures, WovenEarth Ventures, Fika Ventures, MCJ, One Small Planet, and Climate Capital.
WalletConnect builder Reown raises $13 million in Series B round including Shopify and Kraken - Led by Jess Houlgrave, Reown is a Web3 infrastructure development firm. It raised $13 million in Series B funding co-led by Union Square Ventures and 1kx, with additional support from Global Digital Asset Holdings, Shopify Ventures, Kraken Ventures, Crypto.com Capital, Figment, Kiln, Everstake, BitGo Ventures, and Fenbush.
Teal Health raises $10 million to replace the annual Pap smear with at-home test for cervical cancer - Co-founded and led by Kara Egan, Teal Health aims to enable women to screen for cervical cancer at home using its “Teal wand” device. The US-based company announced an additional $10 million in funding to fuel its go-to market. Emerson Collective and Forerunner led the round. Existing investors include Serena Williams’ Serena Ventures and Chelsea Clinton’s Metrodora Ventures. Forerunner partner Nicole Johnson is joining Teal’s board.


Treasury management fintech Nilus raises $10M (Axios Pro) - Co-founded by Danielle Shaul, Nilus is an AI-powered treasury platform that enables finance teams to maximize their cash performance with real-time visibility across all accounts. The New York-based startup raised $10 million co-led by Felicis and Vesey Ventures, joined by existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners.
Guidesly Secures $9.5 Million Series A Investment To Fuel its Vertical AI and SaaS Platform In Outdoor Recreation - Co-founded by Taylor Lord, Guidesly provides software for outdoor recreation guides. The US-based startup raised $9.5 million in Series A funding led by Aspen Capital Group, joined by YETI Capital, HalfCourt Ventures, Derive Ventures, Elysian Park Ventures, and Marquee Ventures.

Fast-growing South African venture FARO raises $6M to source, refurbish and sell surplus clothing - Co-founded by Amber Penney-Young, FARO is a recommerce startup that aims to make fashion affordable while combating textile waste across Africa. First Ascent Biomedical gets $6M for lab openings (Axios Pro $) - Co-founded by Diana Azzam, PhD, First Ascent Biomedical is on a mission to transform medical oncology through highly individualized, prospective treatment planning technologies that improve survival and advance science. The Miami-based biotech startup raised a $6 million round led by Vidal Duart Enterprises, joined by Techstars.
AI-powered Daash Intelligence secures 5.5 million US dollars - Co-founded by Melissa Munnerlyn, Daash Intelligence is a commerce intelligence predictive AI platform for retail brands. The San Francisco-based startup raised $5.5 million in Seed funding. Bullpen Capital led the round, joined by GFT Ventures, Silicon Road Ventures, and Red Bike Capital.
Trustup Raises €5M in Funding - Co-founded by Anaïs Ehlen, Trustup is a home renovation platform that connects individuals with certified construction and renovation professionals. The Liège-Louvain, Belgium-based startup raised €5 million from Rise PropTech Fund, Brick & Mortar Ventures, Noshaq, and InvestSud.
Thoras helps companies reach reliability without overspending on cloud costs - Co-founded by Nilo Rahmani and Jen Rahmani, Thoras uses AI to enable enterprises to discover optimization opportunities within reliability to help save on cloud costs.
