Startups: Alchemy raises $31 million to close the HIV pharmacy gap - Co-founded by Susie Crowe, Alchemy develops in-house pharmacy programs for clinics with large HIV and hepatitis C patient populations. The US company secured $31 million in Seed funding led by Andreessen Horowitz. Magic Johnson, Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, Banc of California, Twine Ventures, Springbank, and AlleyCorp also contributed.
Fable adds cognitive and hearing impairments to its accessibility tools with $25M round - Co-founded and led by Alwar Pillai, Fable helps companies build accessible user experiences. The Toronto, Canada-based company raised $25 million in Series B funding from Five Elms Capital.
Sunbird Bio Raises Additional $14 Million to Advance Broadest Blood-Based Diagnostic Platform in Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Neurological Disorders - Co-founded by Huilin Shao, Ph.D, Sunbird Bio is a protein-based diagnostic tests developer. The US-and Singapore-based company closed $14 million in funding from Eli Lilly, EDBI, ClavystBio, Polaris Partners, and S32.
Ash Wellness raises $10M to expand at-home testing (Axios Pro $) - Co-founded by Mio Akasako, Ash Wellness provides at-home medical testing. The New York-based company announced $10 million in Series A funding led by Merck Global Health Innovation Fund.
Strella raises $4 million to automate market research with AI-powered customer interviews - Co-founded by Lydia Hylton and Priya Krishnan, Strella uses AI to automate and accelerate customer research. The New York City-based startup raised $4 million in Seed funding. Decibel led the round, joined by Unusual Ventures.
Can AI make us feel less alone? The founder of Manifest thinks so - Founded and led by Amy Wu, Manifest is a digital wellness company whose app helps users build healthy habits and improve their emotional well-being using AI-driven insights. The New York City-based company raised $3.4 million in funding from Andreessen Horowitz, HF0, Florida Funders, Soma Capital, Stand Together Ventures Lab, Transpose Platform, 305 Ventures, and Mack Ventures.

Infinite Roots secures £2m to explore whey upcycling tech - Co-founded by Anne-Cathrine Hutz, Infinite Roots uses fermentation and fungi to create the next generation of sustainable alternative proteins. The Hamburg, Germany-based biotech company raised €2.6 million in grant funding from Germany’s Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture.
sallea secures $2.6M for its 3D Scaffolds for cell cultivated meat - Co-founded by Anna Bünter, Nicole Kleger, and Simona Fehlmann, sallea develops cultivated meat and fish products technology. The Zurich, Switzerland-based startup raised $2.6 million in Pre-Seed funding. Founderful led the round, joined by Kost Capital.
Cult Mia’s triple-digit growth leads to a $5M Seed Raise - Founded and led by Nina Briance, Cult Mia is a luxury retail platform that curates exclusive collections from independent designers worldwide. The UK startup raised a $2 million Seed extension round from H&M Group Ventures, with previous investors Fuel Ventures, Morgan Stanley, and David Wertheimer also joining. The company raised a total of $5 million.

Former OpenAI technology chief Mira Murati to raise capital for new AI startup, sources say - Mira Murati, former chief technology officer at OpenAI, is raising funds from VCs for her new AI startup.
VC: Inés Ures launched Real Ventures, a fund that will back early-stage real-life consumer brands in Europe.
