The Cologne, Germany-based company raised €6 million in a round led by Emerald Technology Ventures. Ventis, Kiko Ventures, Grazia Equity, and Rubio also participated.
UNCAGED Innovations Raises $5.6M for “World’s First” Sustainable Leather from Grains - Co-founded by Stephanie Downs and Xiaokun Wang, Uncaged Innovations develops sustainable leather alternatives. The New York-based startup raised $5.6 million in a Seed funding round co-led by Green Circle Foodtech Ventures and Fall Line Capital. Ponderosa Ventures, Golden Seeds, and InMotion Ventures also joined.
Vaire Computing raises $4.5M for ‘reversible computing’ moonshot which could drastically reduce energy needs - Co-founded by Hannah Earley (CTO) - a well-known reversible computing researcher from the University of Cambridge, Vaire Computing aims to create near-zero energy silicon chips leveraging reversible computing. The London and Seattle-based company announced $4.5 million in Pre-Seed and Seed funding from 7percent Ventures, Jude Gomila, Seedcamp, Clim8, and angel investors.
Beauty tech startup Boldhue raises capital to ship its ‘Keurig for makeup’ - Co-founded by Rachel L. Wilson and Karin Layton, BoldHue is a personalised beauty tech company. The US startup raised $3.4 million in Seed funding. Lucas Venture Group led the round, with additional support from Capital Eleven, Backstage Capital, Tacoma Venture Fund, a.o.
Sensorita uses digital twins to help waste management companies streamline construction waste - Co-founded and led by Ulrikke Lien, Sensorita helps waste companies cut costs and emissions by providing cutting-edge analytics. The Oslo-based company came out of stealth with $3.25 million in funding from Brick and Mortar Ventures and Telenor.
Swedish mental health startup Meela bags €2.6M from Dutch VC Peak, others - Co-founded by Tiffany Boswell and Natali Suo, Meela is a mental health matchmaking platform that helps people find the right psychologist and therapy method. The Gothenburg, Sweden-based startup raised €2.6 million in a Seed funding round led by Peak, joined by The Inner Foundation, Unconventional Ventures, and Calm/Storm.

Cambridge Electric Cement raises £2.25 million seed fund - Co-founded by Poppy Brewer, Cambridge Electric Cement is developing a sustainable, recycled cement. The Cambridge, UK-based startup raised £2.25 million in Seed funding. Zero Carbon Capital led the round, joined by Legal & General, Cambridge Enterprise Ventures, Parkwalk Advisors, Delph25, and Almanac Ventures.
Orus Energy secures €2.2M to help decarbonise the power grid - Co-founded by Fanny Sauvée, Orus Energy is an energy flexibility platform that helps decarbonize the power grid. The company raised €2.2 million in a Pre-Seed round co-led by b2venture, Asterion Ventures, and Ring Capital.
License Any Asset, Anywhere: SmarterLicense Leads the Charge in IP Innovation for the AI Era - Founded and led by Liz Hagelthorn, SmarterLicense provides a tool for secure, comprehensive control, distribution, and monetization of digital assets. The Los Angeles, California-based startup raised $1.1 million in funding from Chris Camillo and other angel investors.
Swedish martech Hypertype scores €600,000 - Founded in 2021 by Teenie Fung and Beatrice Baltscheffsky, Hypertype helps customer support representatives and salespeople automate and simplify communications with customers using AI. The Swedish martech startup secured €600K in a round led by Butterfly Ventures and Bust.
